Psalms 106:35-41

35 But ^athey mingled with the nations
And learned their ^{▼▼ Lit works}practices,
36 And ^cserved their idols,
^dWhich became a snare to them.
37 They even ^esacrificed their sons and their daughters to the ^fdemons,
38 And shed ^ginnocent blood,
The blood of their ^hsons and their daughters,
Whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan;
And the land was ⁱpolluted with the blood.
39 Thus they became ^junclean in their ^{▼▼ Lit works}practices,
And ^lplayed the harlot in their deeds.

40 Therefore the ^manger of the Lord was kindled against His people
And He ⁿabhorred His ^{▼▼ I.e. people
,} ^pinheritance.
41 Then ^qHe gave them into the hand of the ^{▼▼ Or Gentiles}nations,
And those who hated them ruled over them.
